As mentioned before, ''Cobalt WASD'' lacks the auto-aim features of ''Cobalt'', instead being mouse and keyboard-based. By default, ''Cobalt WASD'' has only one gamemode (''Bomb Defusal'', known internally as ''jointStrike''). In this gamemode, you play as either a Metalface or a Protobot. Protobots try to plant bombs at predetermined sites on a map (Site A and Site B) while the Metalfaces try and stop them. Metalfaces can win the round by killing all the opposing Protobots or defusing the bomb, while Protobots can win the match by killing all the opposing Metalfaces or detonating the bomb.
Each team comes with its own equipment, but this equipment can be equipped by the opposing team by picking it up from dead players.

Cobalt WASD, also known as WASD, is a spin off version of Cobalt released in 2017.[2] It's a modded version of Cobalt that emphasizes on more competitive game-play. Unlike Cobalt, Cobalt WASD requires the player to use the mouse to aim and WASD keys for movement. The game does not support the traditional keyboard-only and auto-aim features from Cobalt. The game has been developed by Daniel "thewreck" Brynolf, Jens "jeb" Bergensten, and Pontus "Kinten" Hammarberg.[3]

Gameplay Mechanics

As mentioned before, Cobalt WASD lacks the auto-aim features of Cobalt, instead being mouse and keyboard-based. By default, Cobalt WASD has only one gamemode (Bomb Defusal, known internally as jointStrike).
